Ears, Ice Cream & Water!

Ella Grace got her ears pierced today! I won't lie. It was absolutely heart breaking. I cried about as much as she did, just not as loudly. Thankfully though, she did forget about it quickly and then went on about her day as usual : )

Waiting to get her ears pierced

After with her pretty pierced ears : )

Haha! Such a silly girl : )

We went and had a nice outside lunch, then headed home for some fun-in-the-sun

I felt so guilty about my sweet baby's ears (even though she had long forgotten about it) that I shared my chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream cone with her. Needless to say she LOVED it!!!

Then Daddy got out EG's pool for the first time

Which made EG a happy girl!

Standing like such a big girl!

And I had to include this picture of those sweet chubby thighs! i LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

Me & my sweet girl

And what is an afternoon outside without playing in the dirt...

It was a great day! I absolutely live for days like these. They are such a blessing with our busy schedule. We are planning on lazy, rainy days the next two days which are welcomed too. Hope you all had a happy hump day!

  1. Lisa Marie,

Was searching for my GF's blog and came across yours. Loved your thoughtful reasoning and description and pictures of having your dd's ears pierced. I think you were a smart mommy for doing it now when mommy can care for them.

Babies and little girls with pierced ears celebrates their femininity and femaleness.

Our ped gave me some suggestions for moms having their infant dd's ears pierced as well as for "Tips for moms having their dd's ears pierced/Care of Newly Pierced Ears."

If any other moms thinking about it and want to do it now or would like them, write me an e-mail.
